Project Highlights

Project Challenge:
The clients' existing outdoor area featured a small walkway and a large turfed area. Due to mobility issues, a larger landscaped area was requires for wheelchair access and to move around freely. The old tarmac was unsuitable and needed to be removed to create a more accessible and functional space.

Solution:
PM Cheshire Ltd designed and implemented a comprehensive plan to address the clients needs. The project involved several key steps:

1. Removal of Old Tarmac:
o The existing tarmac was carefully removed to make way for a new, more accessible surface.

2. Installation of ACO Drainage:
o ACO drainage systems were installed to ensure proper water management and prevent pooling, which can be hazardous for wheelchair users.

3. Indian Stone Patio Area:
o A new Indian stone patio was installed, providing a durable and elegant surface that is easy to navigate.
o The patio was designed to be spacious, allowing the client to move around freely and comfortably.

4. Landscaping:
o The large turfed area was re-landscaped to complement the new patio and create a cohesive, inviting outdoor space.
o Pathways were widened and made more accessible, ensuring that the client could enjoy the garden without any obstacles.
