Challenge
The clients' existing outdoor area featured an old, crumbling timber decking that
was not only unsightly but also unsafe and impractical for al fresco dining. The goal was to
replace this with a modern Indian stone patio that would seamlessly integrate with the newly
landscaped garden, complete with built-in steps for easy access to the garden. The project
required careful planning and execution to ensure that the new patio met the clients'
specifications and provided a durable, elegant solution.
Solution
PM Cheshire Ltd designed and implemented a comprehensive plan to address the
clients' needs. This involved removing the old timber decking and installing a new Indian
stone patio. The patio was designed to be a central feature of the outdoor living space, with
built-in steps leading to the newly landscaped garden. The team worked closely with the
client to ensure that every aspect of the patio, from the stone selection to the layout and
functionality, aligned with their vision for modern living. The garden was also landscaped to
complement the patio, creating a cohesive and inviting outdoor environment.
Outcome
The project was a success, resulting in easy access to the newly landscaped
garden and making it a usable space for al fresco dining. The custom-built Indian stone patio
met the clients' specifications, providing a durable and elegant solution that enhanced the
overall functionality and aesthetic of the outdoor area. The integration of built-in steps further
improved the usability of the garden, ensuring that it was accessible and enjoyable for the
client and their guests.
